WELDING
Thermocraft Engineering reputation for high quality welding really shines when you see the weld bead produced by our certified welders. Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) is one of our specialties. Our experienced welders follow all the AWS requirements needed to ensure a quality weld. Whether the materials to be welded are aluminum or stainless steel, the result will be well within your requirements and of X-ray quality. Thermocraft Engineering welding certifications require us to follow stringent guidelines and yearly testing when welding our customer’s components.
BRAZING
Thermocraft Engineering’s brazing department regularly join dissimilar materials to X-ray standards while maintaining blueprint and customer requirements and we carry multiple silver and nickel based filler alloys in house to facilitate a quick turnaround. Thermocraft Engineering also performs soldering services for electrical applications in the aerospace, defense and commercial industries.
SPOT WELDING
Thermocraft Engineering provides certified resistance welding services. Our XXXXX welder which are considered one of the best in the world and has the largest XXXXX on the East Coast maintains the strict tolerances required by the aerospace industry. Our XXXXX welder is capable of welding Aluminum, Stainless steel, Titanium, Inconel and most other metals while maintaining the proper conditions to ensure a quality weld. Our resistance welding operations are closely monitored by our internal quality department which ensures that all the resistance welding functions fall within the guidelines set forth by AWS D17.2.
